Quickly Taking Your Brick and Mortar Business Online
During the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, brick and mortar businesses have 3 choices:
- Make no changes and ride out the wait time until they can open their doors again.
- Create options for the local community like curbside pick up or delivery.
- Get online and expand business worldwide.
Shifting to the online world can feel overwhelming for those who haven't yet established their business there but I recommend redefining your business model so your business can not just survive, but thrive!
There are many businesses doing this with success. I want to share one such story with you...
I recently had Cassie Saquing on my High Impact Entrepreneur show.
Cassie has a really great story about shifting online!
She has run a preschool for 15 years and this COVID-19 crisis is the first time she has had to close her business doors!
In order to continue to serve her students and pay her staff, Cassie had to do some quick thinking!
She decided to bring her preschool online and teach her students, along with students from many different locations.
It took Cassie less than 2 weeks to put her plan in motion, create a website and start enrollment!
She explains that the teaching model that her preschool uses will allow kids to have social interaction, engaging learning time and fun... without mind-numbing video games or worksheets!
Cassie is putting to use the free technology of Zoom and there are no hidden fees.
Throughout my conversation with Cassie, we discuss important factors to successfully moving - or starting- your business online! There are many golden nuggets for you to apply yourself!
Watch the interview in the video above and leave me a comment to let me know what was most helpful to you!
